Instalando un template de osCommerce me encontré con el siguiente problema Error 1054 – Unknown column ‘p.products_id’ in ‘on clause’ al acceder a las subcategorias de los productos.
Buscando por “San Google” encontré en el foro oficial de soporte de osCommerce (http://oscommerce.qadram.com/) lo siguiente:
Es un bug por la versión 5 de MySQL. Tenemos que modificar del archivo index.php (En la carpeta catalog por defecto, para ser más claro, es el index.php general o main que cargamos para visualizar la tienda.
Sinó hemos modificado nada anteriormente en este archivo, tendremos que modificar las lineas 171-189 que corresponden al siguiente código:

Ya con el nuevo código, solo nos quedará guardar el archivo y subirlo renombrandolo por el que tenemos en el servidor.

El código me solucionó el error, pero ahora me da este nuevo fallo en vez de mostrar los productos nuevos en la entrada:

¿Cómo se soluciona esto?

A los que no les ha funcionado es por que no hacéis lo que ha hecho “barraca”.

Funciono bien, y en otro sitio que habia hechos cambios en el index tube problemas, asi parece que hay que corregir este problema primero y despues hacer las modificaiones que tengamso que hacer
Ya probe y salio bien solo para los enlaces del menu, pero me sigue saliendo el error en la pagina principal…….

es un os commernce con un m.template…q da muchos errores cuando se instalan..
crear una carpeta tem en c.
luego arreglar configure.php para permisos.
luego los cookies en configuracion y ahora este ultimo…
creo q todo ya lo arregle…ya funciona todo…mil gracias.
Para el error 1054 o explico el PORQUE, así en el resto de srcripts lo podéis arreglar en todas las consultas a la BBDD.
Ponemos “(” justo después del FROM y otro “)” antes de LEFT JOIN
En todas las consultas que haya un LEFT JOIN
ej: ….from (……..) left join
Esto es universal para el resto de Scripts que incluyamos.

Gracias por el dato!!!! No se compliquen… solo agreguen los benditos parentesis:
El de abrir despues del FROM y el de cerrar antes del LEFT JOIN.
En el caso que haya dos LEFT JOIN, en el FROM anterior deberan poner dos parentesis de abrir.
Ejemplo 1: …… from (………………..) left join ………….
Ejemplo 2: …… from ((………………..) left join ………….) left join
